Pet Ministry-PS, Inc.

Our mission is to find loving, forever homes for "Angels in Fur Coats" that are lost, abandoned, or surrendered by their owners. Since we are not a shelter, we look for foster homes to care for dogs and cats before they are placed in a new permanent home. Since 2009, available dogs and cats have been introduced at adoption events and “Meet & Greets” where new owners are screened by our volunteers to determine the best home for each pet. In the past 16 years we have rescued over 500 dogs and cats, many of those pets are alive today because we found new homes for them. Our adoption events are now at Center for Spiritual Living-Palm Springs after their Sunday Service at 10:30 am when rescued pets become available.

As a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, we rely on donations which are tax-deductible to support our work:

Finding foster homes for rescued pets until they are adopted
Arranging “Meet & Greets" for rescued pets to find loving, forever homes
Funding Low Cost Spay/Neuter to control the pet overpopulation
Assisting with high vet bills especially for Seniors on limited budgets
Suppling pet food for rescued dogs & cats
Finding temporary foster homes for pets who need care in a time of need
Networking lost dogs & cats and pets needing homes on social media
Developing an affordable housing community for seniors and their pets

Pet Ministry-PS, Inc., celebrated our 16th Anniversary in February, 2025. In the past 16 years, we have found loving, forever homes for over 500 rescued dogs and cats. We have funded spay/neuter of adopted pets, helped people who need assistance with medical expenses and vet referrals and have provided food for rescued pets. We also post photos on Facebook of pets that may be lost or missing and rescued dogs and cats that are available for adoption. Pets for adoption are available at individual “Meet & Greets” and at adoption events at Center for Spiritual Living-Palm Springs located at 2100 E Racquet Club Rd, Palm Springs, California when rescued pets are available on Sundays at 11:30 am.
